<p>OXNARD, California December 22, 2009 &#8211; Wiggins Lift today announced it delivered a lift vehicle for ODIM Numet Ltd., in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada that incorporates extraordinary safety features, a patented system to ensure stability and automatic controls for the transport of a lead shielded, nuclear materials container weighing 88,000lbs. <span id="more-1647"></span></p>
<p>Wiggins designed, built and completed successful tests of the truck within six months of securing the contract.</p>
<p>With safety and precision of the utmost importance, Wiggins deploys the same technology it developed for the lift truck used onboard the United States Navy Littoral Combat Ship. Wiggins&#8217; patented Stabilift system &#8482; and advanced hydrostatic drive will ensure the load will be safe, even working in ice and snow. Maximum speed will be controlled on level ground and automatically reduced on grades up to 15 percent.</p>
